R. Teige Elektro AS is an independent trading company. The business is primarily related to the design of needs, imports, and sales of electrical products. The company was separated out in its current form in 1994.
The company was originally part of the trading department of Aker Elektro AS which was sold by the Aker group in 1984. The former trading department now consists of 4 companies where R. Teige Elektro AS is one of these. The products and employees have been following the company since its inception in 1984.
We negotiate emergency lights, safety lighting and explosion-proof fixtures (Ex). As well as electric heaters for Ex areas. Our products are supplied by Beghelli, GIFAS, Chalmit lightning and Eltron Chromalox. Our suppliers are leading manufacturers in Europe within their product areas. R. Teige Elektro has more than 25 years of experience with the respective suppliers and their products.
Chalmit lightning's products are widely used in the Norwegian oil and gas industry, and other areas where there are requirements for Ex-certified lighting. R. Teige Elektro has supplied Chalmit products to the majority of offshore installations in the Norwegian sector, and land-based processing plants associated with these. Chalmit Lighting is the world leader in Ex lighting
Beghelli is one of the market leaders in the sale of emergency lights in Norway and Europe. All products and spare parts for delivered types are stocked in Bergen. If necessary, RTE performs service on installed plants. We also assist as needed in connection with the start-up of new plants. We are happy to carry out light calculation of buildings in connection with project design, or alternatively light calculation programs can be sent on request.
Eltron Chromalox is one of the world's largest manufacturers of electric heaters and is represented in most fields in the North Sea.
GIFAS Electric is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of LED safety and evacuation lighting for road tunnels, train tunnels and other transport.
