Can I use Dockstr as a broker?
Brokers, agents and consultants can use our platform to list and find equipment. For this, they need to get a Dockstr account. If they want to list equipment on behalf of a customer, we require confirmation of representation from the equipment owner.
How do I get a Dockstr account?
To register on our platform and get a Dockstr account, you need to fill out the form on the registration page or use your LinkedIn account. You will receive an email shortly after, requesting to confirm your email (If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us). Once your email is confirmed, our team will review and approve your account to grant you access to the Dockstr marketplace.
How do I list equipment on Dockstr?
Listing of equipment on our platform is simple and available only to Dockstr users. Once you have a Dockstr account, you can create a listing which will be reviewed and approved by Dockstr before being published on the Marketplace. What are the fees to use Dockstr as a Buyer?
On Dockstr, it is free to browse and to contact sellers if a listing is of interest. In addition, buyers can create WANTED listings for free if you can't find what you are looking for on the marketplace. For all basic sales transaction initiated through Dockstr, you do not have to pay any transaction fees. Dockstr offers premium paid services for more advanced transactions.
What are the requirements to be approved as a user of the site?
We accept only users working for companies active within the Marine, and Offshore industries. If you register with your professional email address the approval process can be immediate if we know your firm. If you have signed with an email address such as Gmail or work for a company which we do not recognise, we will make contact with you and perform a KYC before approving you account.
How do I login?
User can login with their registered email address and password via “Login” on the top menu bar.
What is the privacy policy of Dockstr?
Dockstr complies with the principles of the European Data Protection Directive when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site. We only hold the data necessary to offer services provided on our website and all the data of users is encrypted on our platform. We never sell, rent or exchange our user's data with any third party.
What are the fees to use Dockstr as a Seller?
Basic listing for sales is free on our platform with no commission in a case of a successful transaction initiated through Dockstr. We offer premium paid services for rentals and other transaction related services.
