Hydraulic Pump (21)
Model/type: Kawasaki K3VG280-1ANR-4000
Max operational pressure: 220 bar
Design pressure: 250 bar
Max oil delivery volume: 400 l/min @ 220 bar.
Submersible Tank (32) with Volume & Pressure Compensator (30)
Submersible tank (32): Steel tank with total volume approx. 800l.
Compensator (30):
The tank is fully filled with hydraulic oil and the compensator with a spring loaded piston ensures that there is always a positive differential pressure inside the tank. With variations in oil volume, hydrostatic pressure from the surrounding water and hydraulic oil temperature, the compensator will be pushed outward with increasing oil volume and inward with decreasing oil volume.
Oil Cooling System
The cooling loop comprises a hydraulic driven water pump (20) that circulates sea water through the cooler (17). The cooler’s oil side is connected to the return line from attached equipment. A separate pump (24) for this purpose is mounted directly onto the main hydraulic pump (21).
