The Modular Over the Side Deployment Pole is designed full easy installation and operation for vessels where a through-hull deployment option is not available.

The self-contained unit can be easily mobilised and transported by road, with both deck and hull mounting options and the ability to increase and decrease the poles length, only an electrical power supply is required to operate the built in deployment/recovery winch with integral brake. Mechanically locks ensure that the pole is secure in both the deployed and recovered states.

The winch motor is electrically driven from the 3 kW SEW Electric gearmotor. The brake, being failsafe, always defaults to on should, for any reason, electrical supply is lost, or the proportional joystick is in its centre position.
